Forbidden Mountain Part 9

What happened so far? He is still curious about the odd lights he saw, so Alxx decides to go along with DMan and Arianna to find a Healer within Forbidden Mountain. He doesn't realize his mother, Alia, has launched a search for him.

"Ma'am, we are near the crest and I can see where Alxx may have slept for a time. It appears there have been horses here as well. I am puzzled. I didn't know we had any horses in these hills."

"Thank you, Regulator. I can see the hoof prints. I am amazed! We will have to bring an expedition up here to look for the species. I was afraid all the horses we have at the Scientific Institute were the only ones left in the world. Look, Mykk, isn't this a great find? I wonder if Alxx is a willing rider, of if he was taken against his will?"

"Mount transporters and let's go!"

"What do you make of the riders in the gorge sir?"

"I don't know what to make of them. I appears they are not threatening in any way. Just a large man and two smaller humans. I'm wondering why they would venture so far from the safety of their camp? Send for Gisel to greet them and tell him there shall be no tricks!"

Forbidden Mountain - Part 8

"Look down there Alxx. I believe there are other visitors to your area of the mountain. Those are horse tracks in the mud. I thought you said there were no horses around here?"



"Let's see. Wow! You are right, that does look like a bunch of horses were here. I can't wait to tell mother about this."



"If these riders carried lamps to light their way, perhaps that is the mysterious lights you saw. I mean, if these riders travel as we do, they would carry lanterns in the evening - and here, where it is quite a narrow path, they could follow along behind each other."



"Yes, I see what you mean. And with the gait of the horses, it would appear that the lights move up and down - of course! I wonder who those other people are?"



"I don't know. Perhaps they are with the tribe that the Healer belongs to. Hang on Alxx, I'm going to mount behind you and we'll carry on to look for the village."

Forbidden Mountain Part 7

What happened so far? Alxx is very surprised to see DMan's horses as horses are almost extinct in Alxx's city of Exxon. Alxx decides to travel with DMan and Arianna in their quest to find a Healer, and to see if he can spot those strange lights he saw earlier.

"May I touch your horse?"

"Certainly, Milar loves to have his nose rubbed. I take it you have never ridden a horse?"

"Oh no, we are not allowed to abuse the animals that way."

"That is not abuse, my dear lad. It is exercise for the horse and for me too. Come on, step into my hand and I'll lift you onto Milar's back."

"Oh, could I? Thank you!"

Alxx was very happy. He had alwalys wanted to touch a horse, and here he was actually riding one! If only his friend, Mykk could see him now - what a blast!"

Forbidden Mountain Part 6

What happened so far? DMan and his daughter, Arianna, came across Alxx while he is waking up from a nap - after his hard climb up Forbidden Mountain. Meanwhile, Alxx's mother, Alia, has launched a search for him.

"We are please to meet you, Alxx. Now we must travel further, to see if we can find a Healer for Arianna."

"Wait! What's wrong with you?"

"Well, I get very tired, sometimes my eyes are so itchy and tears come quite readily. I seem to fall asleep easily,and I can't seem to get my breath at certain times. But it's not so bad, father just worries about me."

"You look just fine to me. Why don't I come with you and help you look for the Healer? I have never been into the mountain very far and would like to see what's beyond the crest. I saw some strange lights awhile ago and I came up here to see if I could find out anything about them. Maybe I'm just on the wrong side of the mountain."

"We heard some rumours of strange lights. You are certainly welcome to travel with us, but you must bear in mind that we have to stop quite often to allow Arianna to rest."
